During an absence, an approver delegates their approvals to a colleague for a set period (start date and end date). During that period, the delegate can vote on behalf of the delegator: their vote counts for the delegator, and the audit log records both names. Outside the period, the delegation has no effect.

A user's delegations, managed by the administrator

Each user can also create their own delegations from their profile
- The four-eyes principle also applies to delegations: a delegate cannot approve a batch they submitted themselves.
- An expired delegation is refused at the time of the vote: you need to extend it or create a new one.
- Always use a delegation rather than lending your account: it is tracked and limited in time.
